Established by Mel Gimblett an Advanced Care Paramedic in the province of Ontario. Mel Attended Sheridan College in the Athletic Therapy Program and received instruction on Athletic Injury Management.The combination of these two doctrines have come to formulate the operational procedures of Event Medical Staff.

With it's base in Hamilton, Ontario. EMS inc. is involved in the provision of medical and trainer services for a wide range of clients located throughout Southern Ontario.

With a staff of over 60 Medical Responders, EMS Inc. is able to provide an extensive range of services in a variety of venues. Services are fully customizeable to our clients' event requirements.

Events Covered include;

- Community Events - Large Scale Outdoor Festivals
- Community Minor Sports Competitions - Concerts
- School Board Athletics and Events - Movie Shoots
- Elite Athletic Competitions - Horse Racing Tracks
- Charitable Events - Automobile Racing Faclilities.

Staffing levels are determined upon consultation with clients to assess event and client requirements. Staffing can range from First Aid providers to Full Paramedic Services as well as Registered Nurses and Physicians.Event Medical Staff operates under the Delegation of an Ontario Licensed Physician who is also a Registered Base Hospital Physician within the GTA. EMS performs regular audits on patient care rendered to ensure Quality Control as a part of this Base Hospital.

EMS has recently moved into the provision of risk assessment and Insurance consultation services for various Minor Sports and Elite Athletic Organisations. EMS also has the ability to provide seminars and training services for rehabilitation and developement of athletes as well as consultation of Banned substances and Drugs for the Elite Athlete.
